Moonshots (or: How to Solve the World’s Biggest Problems)

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about the fabled idea of “moonshots”. The crazy ambitious projects which aim to solve the world’s biggest problems once and for all, using breakthrough technologies.


The Short Pitch

We spend hours upon hours crafting our pitches. We follow Guy Kawasaki’s “10/20/30 Rule of Powerpoint” and use Sequoia’s pitch deck template as a starting point for our own decks. And we take yours truly’s recommendations on how to create a pitch serious.


The Job of a CEO

In response to my last post on “Know Your Sweetspot (And Act Accordingly)” I received a bunch of email from founders saying that they feel stuck in the conundrum of doing what is required of them (given the stage of the company) and wanting to keep doing what they truly love doing.
