The problem about urgent work is that it’s urgent.
That it needs to get done.
Right now.
As fast as possible.
And the even bigger problem is that almost everything these days is urgent.
… is to do more of the things you actually really want to be doing.
And less of the things you don’t really want to be doing.
Unless you change this no productivity app, processes or tools in the world will make you…
Productivity is a concept that was developed back in the days during the industrial revolution.
A time where everybody was doing one thing and one thing only.
There’s a limited amount of decisions we can make each and every day.
And no matter how big or small the decisions you make, they will equally take away some of your decision power.
5 minutes a day is all you need.
You don’t need to write hundreds or thousands of words every single day.
You also don’t need to write hours and hours each and every day.
They only work when you do stuff you already know how to do.
But they don’t work when you do something you don’t know how to do.
And we live in a time where it gets more and more important to be able to do a lot of different things.
But luckily there are so many things out there that I want to do that at one point the list gets so big and the weight on my shoulders for doing none of it gets so heavy that I just gotta do something.
Whenever I enter a room I’m the least productive person in the room.
I’m not sure if it’s true but that’s just how I feel.
Writing a book doesn’t lead to success.
It just so happens that a lot of successful people write books.
Mostly about how they got successful or about how they achieved something great.
I wish I could give you some mind blowing advice like a lot of other people out there do.
Stuff like…
“Get up before 8am.”
