There are people out there who have to hear your story even though they don’t even know you exist.
There are people out there who will fall in love with you even though they haven’t met you yet.
Many times you’ll meet people that will tell you that what you’re doing just isn’t for you.
That you’re not good enough. That you should move on to something new.
Who only talks about stuff, but never does.
Who only day dreams, but never lives.
Who only follows, but never leads.
Who only watches, but never plays.
It’s easy to hit that publish button for a great piece of work.
And so much harder to hit that publish button for a not so great piece of work.
It’s easy to fall for the trap of always having to deliver great work.
There will be times when you feel like giving up.
When you feel like it all doesn’t make any sense anymore.
When you doubt everything you do or did.
“Sometimes I feel like your articles are written just for me.”
And then I thought about it for a second. I thought about what she just said.
Nothing. I would tell my 20 year old self nothing at all.
Because all of the things I did, all of the mistakes I made, all of the good things that turned into bad things (or the other way round) and all of the struggle and happiness I…
… to spend as much time as possible with the people you owe all of this while you still have the chance. Regret kills…

If someone doesn’t get what you’re doing, don’t try to explain it.
