What did you do this past week?
I have been working on setting up the SQL database for the software engineering project. I’m not too familiar with SQL since I’ve only used it a few times for previous projects, but I’ve started to understand it much better as I’ve fleshed out the database.

What did you do this past week?
This past week, I was mainly focusing on the software engineering project. My group made a lot of progress on it and we are very close to finishing. I’m very happy with how the website it looking now!

This past week I completed the Collatz project on time, attended the lectures, and looked through the online notes afterwards to make sure I understood everything.

CS371p: Week 3

What did you do this past week?
This past week, I started working on optimizing code for finding the Collatz cycle length. To do this, I tried out several caching strategies, continuously modifying them until they worked and passed all three test cases on HackerRank.

CS371p: Week 5

What did you do this past week?
I worked with a friend on this class’s Voting project. We set up our repo and wrote an implementation, which almost passed all the HackerRank test cases. Our code is aborting in a specific scenario, so we still have some issues to take care of this week.
