saddarSanam — verse 39

baddhatva bhAvE sati mOksha cintA
bandhastu kasyEti vicAraNEna
siddhE svayam svAtmani nityamuktE
kva bandha cintA kva ca mOksha cintA

in the thought of the binding exists the thought of liberation
“of whom this binding?” by such inquiry
having attained ever liberated “I” in own self
where is thought of binding and where is thought of liberation?

bandha cinta - As long as the thought “I am bound” is real, the thought of “I need liberation” is true. By inquiring “who has the binding?” - binding vanishes. (in the last verse we have seen - by inquiring “who is doer?” - doer-ship vanishes) Having found ever liberated self as true - I, where is the thought of binding and where is the thought of liberation? They will vanish along with all the other thoughts!
