You reach for Angelika’s hand. “Something’s taken hold of you, kid,” you say. “You gotta fight it!”
“I’m a vessel of Impachik…”
The villagers bow in fear and reverence.
“Fight him, Angelika!” you urge. “He’s the enemy.”
The girl blinks several times, then looks at you. “Help me.”
A roar sounds behind. An enormous red demon has entered the village, towering over the houses. As you watch in horror, it devours two locals, then charges.
“Fly, you fools!” you shout, raising your sword.
But the weapon is flicked aside, and you’re grasped in its massive hand.
Inside, all is dark...
