Our primary focus has been on transforming our mainnet into a more user-friendly space, to seamlessly onboard both new and seasoned users from the Web2 realm to the world of Web3. Intuitive Rebranding for integration within XPLA ecosystem
In the early months of 2023, key DApps within the XPLA ecosystem, such as XPLA GAMES and X-Planet, embarked on a rebranding journey aimed at achieving greater integration within the XPLA ecosystem.
The rebranding to ‘XPLA GAMES’ and the transformation of C2X Marketplace into X-PLANET mark significant milestones in harmonizing our ecosystem under the XPLA banner. These changes not only symbolize our commitment to intuitive user engagement but also reinforce our vision for a unified, immersive XPLA Universe.
Celebrating our first anniversary, we look back with pride at the leaps we’ve made in a year and forward with excitement to the future, ready to continue breaking new ground and delivering an unparalleled Web3 gaming experience.

- The Walking Dead: All-Stars
The latest addition to our gaming family, The Walking Dead: All-Stars, is an officially licensed idle RPG game. Mirroring the tokenomics system of MiniGame Party, it records impressive Web3 statistics — a 42% increase in daily ad revenue, a 40% rise in daily new users (DNU), and a 20% boost in daily active users (DAU).

✔ Enhancing User Accessibility through Listing
The focus on accessibility for acquiring $XPLA has been a cornerstone of our efforts to enhance the user experience, and we’re thrilled to share the strides we’ve made in expanding our presence across various exchanges.
In a significant move, we migrated C2X to XPLA, previously listed on HTX, marking a pivotal step towards consolidating our identity. Now, with pride, we can say that XPLA is not just a part but the sole representative across all platforms.
Our journey to broaden accessibility kicked off with impactful listings on prominent exchanges such as HTX, Gate.io, and Korbit. Building upon this foundation, we’ve extended our reach to numerous exchanges and DEXs throughout 2023, reinforcing our commitment to inclusivity.
[CEX] Engaging with Bithumb, we’ve orchestrated various events, fostering a vibrant ecosystem around XPLA. The global stage welcomed us with open arms as we secured a listing on Crypto.com App, a renowned exchange in more than 90 countries with a user base exceeding 50 million. September marked a flurry of activity with 4 additional exchange listings on Gopax, Bit2Me, and MEXC.
[DEX] Of particular note is our inclusion on Osmosis, the largest DEX in the Cosmos ecosystem. We’re now integrated with more DEX platforms like Dezswap, Superdex powered by Dexlab, and MonsterSwap, the first AMM DEX on XPLA. This strategic move has not only expanded our audience but also opened doors to welcome new users into the XPLA community.
✔ Strengthening Foundations Through Infrastructure Enhancement
Our commitment to excellence reached a significant milestone in February, marked by a monumental upgrade — the transition to an EVM-compatible node. This transformation unlocks the capability to run solidity-based programs, a game-changer that facilitated the seamless onboarding of Idle Ninja Online onto XPLA. Also, our presence has now been illuminated on Xangle Analytics, a publicly accessible tool designed to analyze and present fundamental metrics of blockchain Mainnets at a glance.
Another crucial chapter in our journey unfolded with the successful execution of ‘Validation Settlement Phase 2.’ A governance proposal, backed by the community, spearheaded a pivotal shift aimed at fostering growth and active engagement within the XPLA community. Post-update, our explorer and XPLA Vault wallet saw a refreshing change with an updated APR display. This not only rewards our users but also reinforces the network’s security and stability.
On December 11th, a proposal was introduced and unanimously approved with a 100% positive vote, unveiling the notion of the ‘Volunteer Validator.’ It was passed with 100% yes votes. The concept of the volunteer validator is to support validators who want to participate in proposing blocks without profit. Say hello to our first Volunteer Validator Google Cloud!
2) Connection
✔ Collaborative Expansion with Diverse Partnerships
Reflecting on the strides we’ve made in 2023, it’s a pleasure to share the exciting partnerships that have enriched our ecosystem and propelled us forward.
- [Infrastructure Partners]
Our journey began with a fresh alliance with Certik, a leading audit platform that diligently identifies and resolves vulnerabilities within our blockchain system. As we fortified our infrastructure, we welcomed more partners into the fold. Nefta, a platform offering blockchain technology and advertising tools, joined forces to assist businesses in launching and scaling high-quality projects. Additionally, Layer Zero, an interoperability protocol, seamlessly integrated with XPLA, enhancing communication and transactions with other networks.

Diversifying our wallet services became a key focus, with integrations including Burrito Wallet, Kanalabs, Kado (payment service), and Vanta Wallet. This strategic move offers users a plethora of choices, enabling them to select a wallet that aligns seamlessly with their unique circumstances.

In close collaboration with our partner Oasys, a gaming-specialized mainnet in Japan, we showcased our alliance at JBW and hosted a successful hackathon. As our ecosystem expanded across various services, we extended our reach to another layer1 project, MEVerse, connecting users to the metaverse for an innovative and immersive form of entertainment. Partnerships continued to flourish with EDUM, an educational web3 platform providing Study to Earn (S2E) services, exemplifying our commitment to diverse collaborations within the Web3 universe.

In our ongoing commitment to strengthen ties within the Cosmos ecosystem, we are thrilled to announce strategic partnerships with Axelar, a cross-chain interoperability platform, and Squid, a leading cross-chain service provider. The integration with Leap wallet further enhances the user experience, allowing for one-click exploration of Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) transactions across more than 50+ Cosmos chains. These partnerships signify our dedication to building an interconnected and accessible Web3 universe, fostering collaboration and innovation across the Cosmos ecosystem and beyond.

Being the gaming and entertainment content hub, XPLA forged numerous gaming-related partnerships. Notable collaborations with YGG (Yield Guild Games) and OLA.GG, the largest guilds in SEA and Latin America, strengthened our gaming community, resulting in the launch of five exciting games. Partnerships with Perplay and MiraclePlay, offering Play-to-Earn (P2E) related services, further enriched the gaming experience for our users. ✔ Fortifying Security Through Dedicated Validators
We are thrilled to share that our validator count has soared to an impressive 80, a testament to our commitment to decentralization and security.
The XPLA family has welcomed several esteemed partners this year, adding significant strength to our Web3 community. A standout addition to our esteemed lineup is none other than Google Cloud, a titan in the tech industry. What sets this collaboration apart is Google Cloud’s role as our first ‘volunteer validator,’ demonstrating a commitment that goes beyond profit.
In the gaming realm, our validator pool has been enriched by the inclusion of notable players. Among them, gumi & BPMG both a renowned gaming company, stands tall. The collective expertise of these gaming-focused validators promises to drive innovation within the gaming sector, positioning us as pioneers in the Web3 gaming era.
As we celebrate these milestones, we extend our gratitude to our growing community and partners who continue to contribute to the vibrancy of the XPLA ecosystem.
✔ Cultivating Community Cohesion and Connectivity
This year has been a testament to our resilience, growth, and the deep connections we’ve forged with our community. Let’s revisit some of the remarkable moments that defined our year.
In May, we successfully concluded the ‘Relief Fund Support,’ an initiative to assist $XPLA holders affected by the FTX issue. The community rallied behind the proposal to transfer funds from the XPLA Reserve to support affected holders, showcasing the strength of our unity. We are immensely proud to be the only project that provided actual support during this challenging period and extend our heartfelt gratitude to those who stood by us. Thank you.
[Offline Events]
In March, we made a mark at the GDC, introducing our “P2O (Play to Own)” value and its tokenomics model. The lessons learned from prior games and the solutions developed were shared, emphasizing the importance of valuing players’ ownership.
June saw us participating in the Web3 Gaming Week presented by Google Cloud and the pit(Jump Crypto), where we showcased our game MiniGame Party, captivating the interest of attendees. At Japan Blockchain Week (JBW), we took the stage as esteemed speakers, participating in events like ‘Non-Fungible Tokyo 2023’ and ‘IVS Crypto 2023 Kyoto.’ The partnership announcement with Oasys during JBW added another layer of excitement to the Web3 scene.
Korea Blockchain Week (KBW) in August was a major highlight, with Kyu leading a session on ‘The Disruptive Potential of Blockchain in the Gaming Industry.’ Side events hosted by Paul Kim and Director Michael Lee provided deep insights into Web3 games based on XPLA’s robust value proposition. The night event was a resounding success, fostering meaningful discussions with blockchain enthusiasts.
Beyond these major events, our presence extended to Cosmoverse, where we represented as one of the Cosmos projects. In G-Star, the largest Korean Gaming Event, we hosted a private meeting and had the session with Google Cloud & Carbonated.
2023 was a pretty big year meeting every each and one of the partners offline and to meet users online through lots and lots of AMA sessions to share insights about our project and the industry itself.
[Hackathon]
We celebrated a milestone with our inaugural hackathon, ‘Beyond Boundaries,’ held in collaboration with Oasys. This event was centered around enhancing the gaming experience and cultivating a web3 development environment that’s truly gamer-friendly. With a substantial total prize pool of $60,000 and three exciting tracks, participants delved into the world of possibilities. The culmination of their efforts was showcased on Demo Day, filling us with anticipation as we eagerly await the live deployment of the winners’ services on XPLA.
[Ambassador Program]
The journey began in May when we started recruiting our first Ambassadors, and the inaugural cohort of 20 ambassadors officially kicked off their journey in June. To ensure a seamless onboarding process and align everyone with our vision, we conducted an online orientation session. In August, we launched the 2nd Ambassador program, welcoming a doubled cohort of 40 ambassadors into our community. And now, as we embark on the 3rd Ambassador program, we are once again humbled by the passion and dedication of our community members. The commitment and support of these ambassadors have been instrumental in fostering community engagement and spreading the ethos of XPLA. Together, we are poised to shape the future of XPLA, forging connections and making strides toward becoming the next gem in the Web3 universe.
