ZTX Beta is Now Live
We are thrilled to announce the official launch of our highly anticipated ZTX Beta.
Introduction to ZTX
ZTX empowers players, creators, and communities to forge connections and pursue passions. By leveraging our team’s expertise and partnerships with industry leaders, ZTX delivers a powerful yet seamless web3 gaming experience with a vision to onboard 1B users. Infused with industry-leading customization, cutting-edge graphics, gameplay progression, and futuristic settings, ZTX offers a unique amalgamation of strategy, action, and exploration.
The ZTX Beta | Highlights
Over the past year, our team has been working to curate an unparalleled metaverse experience for the ZTX Community. Leading up to the Beta, we released the Avatar Builder along with two Playtests — a series of testing environments for community members to provide feedback. Teaming up with strategic partners like Thirdweb, to build smart accounts, and Halborn, to ensure security for users, we have concentrated on developing infrastructure that is both scaleable and user-friendly to assist our goal of onboarding millions of users.
The Beta builds upon experiences of the Playtests, with additional features and experiences. Its launch marks the beginning of an openly accessible ZTX experience — which we will continuously refine, update and expand on.
$ZTX In-Game Utility
A groundbreaking new feature being introduced in the Beta is the in-game utility for $ZTX.
Launched in October 2023, $ZTX is the utility token of the ZTX ecosystem. As our ecosystem of products — such as the core game — continues to evolve, so will its utility. For the Beta launch, players will be able to leverage $ZTX in-game to:
- Pay crafting Fees
- Obtain rarer assets
- Skip crafting times
- Skip extraction times
- Skip harvesting times

Harvesting & Crafting
At the core of ZTX’s progressive gameplay is the ability to harvest organics and extract minerals to craft assets. Assets can be used to decorate homes and trade on marketplaces.
Organics and minerals can fall under 3 tiers; common, rare, and legendary. The Beta will introduce the following:
- 21 organics
- 24 minerals
Players can harvest and mine these to craft an extensive array of assets. Every asset has a recipe that explains what is needed to craft it. Crafting is done using the fusion forge inside each home. At the launch, there will be over 90 asset recipes. After the Beta launch, ZTX plans to release new assets every 3 weeks.
Dark Matter & Capsules
The Beta will also introduce Dark Matter and Capsules. Dark matter is a special mineral that can be extracted and is required to create Capsules. Players who craft Capsules can trade them in for $ZTX. This is just the beginning of what Capsules will offer players, and as the game evolves so will their features.
New Features & Upgrades
The Beta will integrate UI/UX improvements discovered during testing phases and additional features designed to enhance the overall ZTX gaming experience such as:
- An improved game Launcher that handles automatic version upgrades
- More notifications were added to the notification system
- Upgraded the inventory system to be more real-time on all actions
- Enhanced home graphics
- Updated the interior of the home & sizing of various things
- Additional animations for avatars
How to Start Playing 🎮
Starting your ZTX journey is easy and fun! The steps are outlined below. If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to reach out to one of our community managers in Discord.
- Visit ztx.io and download the ZTX Game Launcher for PC or Mac
- To start playing, simply initiate the ZTX Beta Launcher and it will automatically open the most up-to-date version of ZTX
- Create or Log in to your ZTX Smart Account in the game. To create a ZTX Smart Account you will need a MetaMask wallet.
- If you have an existing ZTX Avatar connected to the smart account it will automatically appear. Players without an Avatar will be taken to the Avatar Builder to create one.
- After creating your ZTX Avatar, you will be taken to a plot of land with a base home.
- You will then be met with a tutorial that explains how to navigate the various features and gameplay of ZTX.

Post Beta Launch
After the Beta Launch, our team will work diligently to introduce new features alongside an exciting asset release schedule. This, in addition to constant UI/UX improvements, will make the ZTX Gameplay an ever-evolving journey toward our long-term vision of building an unrivaled metaverse experience.
Seasons
We will be introducing the concept of Seasons post Beta launch. Seasons in ZTX are time-limited periods with exclusive content. In each season, which is planned to run for 3 months, new item recipes and other assets that will be integral to ZTX gameplay will be added. However, we don’t want to spoil too much too soon. Keep an eye out on our Twitter for more information on Season 1!
Genesis Homes
One of the main focuses after the Beta launch is the integration of Genesis Homes into ZTX. Players who hold a Genesis Home will be able to access multiple pieces of land, one for each of their homes — including their base home. This enables players to harvest, extract, and craft more. Additionally, Genesis Home owners will have the ability to craft special capsules by extracting special Genesis Home dark matter and using a Fusion Forge only within a Genesis Home. Genesis Homes will be available in ZTX in Season 1.
