A heartfelt description of Lord Krishna’s pain during last 26 years of His life on earth, in words of Morari Bapu.

This is Part 2 of (5) part series. Links to linked stories provided in footnote¹.

While listening through Morari Bapu’s entire video (embedded below) describing the pain of Krishna’s life, I came across several realizations. Following is my analysis on the excerpts from 28:09 minutes video clip, where he describes Lord Krishna’s pain during last 26 years of His life on this earth.

Lord Krishna’s pain during last 26 years of His life on this earth, in Morari Bapu’s words

Note: Hereon, text in bold & italics are the excerpts from the video, followed by my analysis.

Morari Bapu takes us back in time to the age when Lord Krishna had just turned 100. He now has only 26 years of His life on our lovely planet, Earth. It is the time when He had already established His kingdom in Dwarka, Gujarat. It hurts deeply to know that Lord Krishna’s life between 100 to 126 years was painful beyond measure. Krishna is a complete incarnation in Indian history. His wholesome personality was a super-set of all possible characteristics which humans could ever possess. Yet there is hardly anything which He did not go through during the last 26 years of His life. He toiled His last bit to establish righteousness in the whole world, but to His dismay His own descendants could not practice the same.

Indian scriptures have vividly described the virtues of righteousness (dharma) and non-righteousness (adharma). Few virtues of Dharma are: non-addiction, not resorting to alcohol, non-stealing, respecting women, adoring saints etc. The virtues of Adharma are quite opposite.

Lord Krishna’s clan acted quite opposite to righteousness as per the definitions provide in our scriptures, which has been presented in the above video in the speaker’s own genre.

Even at 100, Krishna still possessed a smile enthralling enough to captivate the three spheres of the Universe. But the painful look on His countenance was enough for the intellectually dominant personality Uddhav, the celestial sage Narad and His friend Sudama to break them down in tears. Soon, they realized the reason of His pain.

When you share close affinity with someone, you feel the pain if the opposite person gets hurt. Whom could Krishna explain or convince that it was not His fault after all?

Lord Krishna is the man whose single word moved the Universe. When Krishna went to Hastinapur to meet Duryodhan with the proposal of compromise to avert the war, the news spread like a wildfire and the yogis who were practicing penance since last 80+ years in Himalayas, Meru, Udayasthal and others regions inaccessible to humans, they forthwith renounced their samadhi and urgently rushed towards Hastinapur. Someone curiously asked, “Where are you Yogis heading?”. They replied, “Today, our Lord Krishna is going to speak. If we miss to hear His words, our penance will go waste.”

Oh, the glory of His words in peerless! Ironically, His own family members turned a deaf ear to Him!

Krishna trumpeted the virtues of righteousness around the world, imagine His plight as His own clan could not uphold the virtues of righteousness! He strongly realized this truth during the last 26 years of His life.

My heart goes out to Krishna as I empathize His pain and realize His suffering!

If I was given a boon to bring few personalities back to my personal life, one of them would indeed be Lord Krishna!
