We are three people from all over Europe (from France passing by Hungary and arriving to Russia) and our “Swedish developers” team was created in order to open for ourselves the world of advertising and marketing. Finally we created our company “BBC — Break the Border Company”. The aim of “BBC” is to help brands get into the market, break their borders by providing marketing and advertising services. If you are ready to boost up your company, just let us know! Welcome to share our journey in Medium! ❤

During our brand ambassador mission with IKEA, we had the chance to interview Natasa Christofi, member of the communication team in IKEA.

An interesting meeting with IKEA responsible

This responsible of IKEA’s Athens store kindly answers us after we sent her an email at the end of March 2019 about the situation and the policy of IKEA in Greece. The main thing that we learn was the fact that IKEA will proceed to further increase of Pick up and Order points and examines the possibility for further expansion in all the country. You can see below our completed interview.

IKEA customers feed back

After few months of collaboration with IKEA and after adressing them our advices, we decided to visit the IKEA store in Athens (ouest of the city) in order to meet some customers. Indeed, we consider that getting the feeling of customers should be very interesting before to implement any changes in the policy of IKEA in Greece. And what we learned was really interesting in at least to aspects :

  • Customers are going to IKEA because they can find lot of diversity in the products and also because it is really cheap. Ikea offers good quality products and a good price in the same time.
  • Customers does not like the fact that IKEA stores are always far from the city center and always crowded.

As we learned thanks to the interview with the IKEA responsible, some of the preoccupations of customers will be take into consideration for the next years. It is for example the case for the opening of city-center stores.

But we dreamed to create our own company…

After having done our mission with IKEA, we finally took an important decision. Even it was really interesting to work with them, we notice that our mission with IKEA was not enough for us. That is why we decided to extend our vision and to get inspiration in looking on the work of others agencies. Since, our goal was to extend and create our own firm.
