Google Search Console Feature Engineering Series

Feature Engineering consists of extracting new data by working with existing data.

Below I list some metrics I created from the standard data that Google Search Console shows.

New GSC Metrics

• Keyword Coverage: This metric tells you how many keywords are ranking for a specific page over time.
• Page Performance Evolution: This metric shows in what place of the Google Search Console Performance Table a specific page ranks by amount of clicks
• Keyword Position Stats: See how many keywords rank in tiers
• CTR by Position: Forecast SEO traffic and sales with specific Click-Through Rate values from your site
• Content Performance by Category: Parse your site’s content by category and see how many Clicks, Impressions, etc. each one has.
• Search Intent: See if search engines associate your content with specific types of searches.
• Keyword Position Evolution: See keyword position evolution, trends, and volatility with Candlestick Charts adapted for SEO.
