Salesforce Overall

General Enhancements

As a reminder MFA is CONTRACTUALLY required since FEBRUARY 1ST 2022 but Salesforce are taking matters into their own hands by enforcing it for direct logins. In the other hand customers using SSO have to enforce it on there SSO providers — This action will happen throughout 2023, starting with Spring ’23. Roadmap this 👉 Way!
Lightning console tabs can consume 🐼 a lot of memory, this is why now SF give you the option to limit the number of loaded tabs. If you open too many tabs, SF will unload your LRU tabs so your tab limit is met. LRU stands for Least Recently Used.

Lightning Scheduler

Lights, Camera, Action! BYO video calls to Salesforce by configuring LS to work with Amazon Chime. Yep, Amazon is not only for shopping toys!
Check Past & Future appointments in a Micro Calendar in Salesforce (using My Appointment Utility item) and in Experience Cloud sites (using a new Lightning Component).

Einstein Search

In the Search Manager, you can now set which fields are searchable or not searchable for each user profile. BETA
Still in PILOT. Einstein Search Answers. Remember, this feature enable your agents so they can now type a question in the Einstein Search Textbox and Salesforce will extract the most relevant information from a knowledge article. The returned answers are just three lines and two buttons: One to Copy the Answer and a second one to Copy the Article Link.

Enablement

If you know nothing about Enablement Programs — just like me before writing this section — just check this TH module

In the Program Builder use the new “Outcome-Based” Program option to display the program outcome at the top of the program. Plus you can create a measure for it. Previously, the outcome was defined implicitly as the final milestone of the program.
A New Program Item “section” 📑 can now be used to organize your enablement content into collapsable sections. It’s not only for cosmetics as these will generate section-specific analytics later.
Lesson Learned! Yet Another New Program Item “Lesson” that can reference a Rich Text content record to be displayed inside the Guidance Center — Worth mentioning that it includes an estimated reading time, isn’t that cool? 😎
Use the power of AI and include measures based on Einstein Conversation Insights in your enablement programs. For example, have an exercise where your Sales Rep would have a video/audio call where he listens 👂🏽 more than 50% of the time.
Even enablement team needs enablement! During measures creation, a new help panel will provide the enablement creators practical prompts, examples, and handy tips.

Reports & Dashboards

Dynamic Report Filters using $User to filter data by signed-in user.
INCEPTION! Or a report about dashboards & reports notifications so you can know who’s subscribed to what.
More Data is More Fun. Your users can now subscribe to 15 reports and dashboards (Previously 7).
A classic never goes out of style — Except in Salesforce! No more need to switch to Salesforce Classic to edit Lightning reports as the Lightning Report Builder now has all the features of Salesforce Classic.
Collections can now be used with Lightning Reports & Dashboards (Previously only used with CRM Analytics assets): Add assets to collections, pin/unpin collections, hide irrelevant ones, share important ones with others and finally subscribe to them!
Enhanced Reports are available FEBRUARY 13, 2023, for iOS and Android mobile devices. GA
Find custom report types that include specific standard or custom Salesforce fields (up to 4 objects & 20 fields). GA
