Value Things That Matter : Unlimited Time-Off

We allow our team members to take time off for anything related to their personal / family matters, that can be done in less than 2 hours.

When we started doing this practise — we’re too worried about the potential of abuse. What if people use it for unnecessary matters? What if people take it too often? What if people use it to attend interview? What if people use it to run their side job? What if..

In most cases, number one obstacle that hold us as human from doing things that intentionally for good causes is — we’re too worried about the “harm” / “issue” that potentially created by problematic people rather than helping, rewarding & celebrating good peoples.

Problematic people will always find a way — regardless of in what situation, or where. And we’re glad that this practise gave so many benefits to our team members.

From the management / leadership perspective, when we execute this— our intention is to build trust culture. We give the “tool” for people to make their life easier, and they’re responsible as a good human to make use of it for good purpose. We value trust. We value good people.
