The Diary Of Healer: Qi Gong And Cancer For Beginners
Adding a new piece to my healing puzzle
My medical situation has become dire according to my physicians. Still, I feel strong and well even if their tests say I am not.
I know a fellow who has stage 4 cancer and has healed using a strong Qi Gong Discipline. I am going to follow his lead.
Qigong is a Chinese system that is a combination of subtle movements and meditation.
The meditation, or wu qi element of Qi gong (standing without moving) is a standing meditation with awareness of, and perhaps, direction of, qi (life force) energy.
I practice qigong and various sitting meditations, including zazen (sitting zen).
They all have much in common:
- stillness,
- natural breathing,
- mantras
- visualization
… and mindfulness (the even awareness of all things in the moment)
Qigong meditation is different in that there is a focus on qi, on the sensory, felt, experience of energy.
We observe energy by its source (heaven, earth, natural objects or phenomena, or human) by its quality of yin or yang, and by specifics as it appears (or perhaps is…
