Bilingual Poem: 《120. Qinghai Lake Nocturne •
“120. Qinghai Lake Nocturne”
Stars softly hum the night’s refrain,
The moon slips west, across the plain.
Searching for what time erased,
On paths once trod, now scarcely traced.
Qinghai Lake draped in the night,
A canvas reflecting life’s plight.
Loneliness-filled lover’s song,
A heart’s whimper, pains prolong.
On the crescent, Cloud and Wind convene,
Singing softly, a tender scene.
Their voices float across starry domes,
Stirring dreams where floral roams.
Air and water trade silent sighs,
Lamenting life’s harsh, unyielding ties.
Tears disturb the lake’s calm face,
Ripples form, then interlace.
Through the darkness, helplessness winds,
A serpentine path as fate binds.
Tightly, it holds until dawn’s near,
Wrapping the morning in a veil of fear.
A rising mist cloaks hill and dale,
In morning’s breath, cold and pale.
Memories vast, held in the haze,
Lost in the depth of the foggy maze.

Aside:
Beneath the moon’s retreat, soft sighs and silent melodies at Qinghai Lake sing of lost paths and old sorrows, mirroring the solitude of souls adrift in time’s vast ocean.
