Charged Particles Announces New Utility for IONX Token
The NFT Smart Wallet protocol’s DAO has spoken and new implementations are live on Mainnet, Polygon, and Mantle
In the last six months, the team at Charged Particles has been positioning the IONX token to see some new utilities with the goal of bringing value to our dedicated community. And, since decentralization has always been a core value, we’ve been engaging in discussions and governance votes to align with the community’s priorities and vision.
In the DAO’s recent governance vote, the community voted to implement new functionality for the protocol’s IONX token — namely, utilizing the token to receive discounts on DApp fees for actions including minting, nesting assets inside an NFT, utilizing our AI tools, and more.
Rather than spending tokens, community members will now be able to lower or even completely remove DApp fees by holding certain levels of the IONX token. We’re excited to see the effect this new token incentive has within the community and the market.

This discount is already live within our DApp. If you hold IONX, you can now utilize the full functionality of the protocol and benefit from these discounts first-hand. And, over the coming weeks, more utilities will be ready to go live. So, stay tuned!

Charged Particles is a protocol that allows users to deposit ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155 tokens into NFTs. A scarce NFT (e.g. Art, Collectible, Virtual Real Estate, In-Game Item, etc.) can now be transformed into a basket holding a number of other tokens.
