This is part of a story that works as an interactive game. You’ll need to have some paper and dice at the ready! Click here for the beginning of the Medium Adventurers League, and find a reminder of the rules here. You can also head back to the Adventurers League Headquarters, or return to the inn for a rest.

You begin to think about all the times you’ve worked hard. Maybe too hard. It’s time to have some fun and relax, but you still need money. The perfect job was waiting on the Adventurers League quest board. Just for you!

Looking for some hired swords to help maintain the peace at the local horse racing event. The tossing of a couple of drunk ruffians may be required. Will pay 5 silver pieces for the day.

With a skip in your step, you head off for the races. What’s the worst that could happen? Toss a drunkard or two out and maybe place some bets. It’ll be easy money!

You report for duty with one of the town’s guards. He directs you to an area to patrol and watch over. The crowd is in a good mood and the sun is shining. Soon the races will start and you start to wonder if you could slip away for a bit.

Maybe place a bet or two and grab a tankard of ale.

You’d only be gone for a minute, but what if something happened? You try to push the thoughts aside. You’re in the town of Westport. There aren’t any monsters here.

If you decide to maintain your post click here.

If you decide to leave to place some bets, click here. You’ll only be gone a minute!
