ArcBlock and CyberMiles already have shared a long path together. Starting from our ICOs to our recent world tour with Krypital, we’re never far from each other.

While both of us envision a better world using the capabilities of blockchain, our approach to the technology is unique. At CyberMiles, we’re building a native blockchain, optimized for e-commerce. ArcBlock, on the other hand, is providing blocklets that facilitate the development of decentralized apps (‘DApps’) to be built on top of a blockchain.

Why? Well, blockchain technology has provided a structure that allows centralized companies to migrate and enjoy the benefits of decentralization (more efficient, safer, faster, cheaper — you name it). Whether completely or partially, to decentralize a business involves the conversion of an already-established organization into the new, decentralized system. This necessary step often is viewed as complicated, costly, and time-consuming, leading some companies to give up in the middle of the process. And that’s where ArcBlock comes in.

For DApp developers, ArcBlock offers a marketplace of libraries and functionalities that enables developers to build DApps with ease, versus writing code from scratch. For people who wish to contribute to the growth of ArcBlock’s ecosystem, the creation of components (i.e. functionalities) will be rewarded with ArcBlock tokens.

Seeing the cross potential, CyberMiles and ArcBlock formed a partnership, which we announced on Twitter. From our end, we’ll work on their blocklets to build business-ready contract templates while ArcBlock has been supporting our project with 6 million CMTs during our crowdfunding. Today, they’ve announced a participation in 6.5 million self-staked CMTs to run a Supernode on our blockchain.
