Kama — fulfilling desires, acting repeatedly,
It the physical, material desire fulfillment be;

Fulfilling biological, other desires but worldly;
Desires as per Dharma fulfilled legitimately,
- 15 —
Desires are in various forms — to be wealthy,
Powerful, sexual, recognition, service — many;
- 16 —
Kama purusharth advocates desires fulfilled be,
Albeit in awareness, without harming anybody;
- 17 —
To reach ultimate destination evolve spiritually,
The barrier of desires needs to be crossed truly;
- 18 —
This achieved by fulfilling the desires be clearly,
Or by sublimating or transcending them totally;
- 19 —
Suppressing desires not recommended certainly,
Then as fully coiled spring held down by force be;
- 20 —
Suppressed desires can erupt so unpredictably,
Causing undesirable consequences definitely.
- 21 —
As one becomes aware of one’s desires clearly,
Fulfills them in awareness, without judgement truly;
- 22 —
One reaches a stage to sublimate them completely,
The Divine, the Universe — lends a hand certainly.

Artha, Kama important for growth of society,
Dharma — righteousness, moral order, duty;
