Chapter 6

Continent Meriden

Casting over the sky a milky red layer of fine dusty clay particles covers most of the Continent from the Massive amount of red Clay Mines scattered throughout the lands of Meriden. While the world is called Meriden too, most people refer to the continent as Meriden even though it is actually called -Little Meriden-. Often clearing up to a beautiful almost brightly blue sky with a hint of purple hint mixed into the scattered clouds on a Sunny day.

The Sky is often lit up by an assorted of beautiful colors mixing between purple, red and blue, highlighted by the two suns in the sky, one much closer to the world of Everlight, These distances depict a different size in each golden yellow sun by a massive size, one nearly twice the size of the other one. These two suns are referred to by Raylor the greater of the two, and Demor the smaller much distant sun. The mixing of the two suns doesn’t seem to affect the amount of sunlight on Everlight because of how large the world really is, and the speed at which it rotates.

Meriden stretches some two thousand, five hundred miles long and roughly nine hundred miles wide from Coast to land. Take the shape of what looks like a large monkey sitting with hands crossed over in front of its chest, with a string of islands at the bottom stretching out into a long trail almost like having its own tail.

To the left of Meriden is the Ocean of Tomadias which is by far a large ocean that covers three sides of Meriden. To the right, Meriden is bordered by another land known as Skirrd, a skirmish land of desert that very few will travel.

Syvais is placed very close to the bottom of Meriden nearly 200 miles from the coast. and not quite centered shifting more from the left side some 350 miles roughly. Nearly most of Meriden's bottomland is covered in assorted mountain ranges and occasional isolated patches of open fields mixed at the bases of mountains. Some mountains climb well into the clouds, specifically Mount Nori scaling so high that some believe it might even break into space above. The mountain ranges slam into the ocean while following down into Meriden's tail of islands.

Throughout the middle of Meriden is covered by assorted lush green plains and assorted forests to count. Although the top of Meriden while not quite considered an island is filtered with what looks like a massive amount of marshlands mixed with Swamps that are so treacherous that some are even scared to adventure there for any reason.

The capital of Meriden is Todarian, a city of extraordinary size sitting halfway up the Meriden ocean coast on the left side, known for its seaport that is considered the largest in the world of Everlight. Ports and routes lead out from Todarian to all parts of the continent, although with a limited range within the Marshland and Swarms.

Meriden is a mixing pot of so many assorted races and is dominated mostly by humans, with a very powerful elven influence scattered throughout the continent, although focused power radiates throughout the central part of Meriden. What someone could encounter in this content is always changing and assorted situations.

What may come as something that only traveling the world could fully reveal as Elewin and her party adventure south from Syvais, into the mountain ranges that may lead to unknown, or so some may believe. While going back to the first steps of life outside of Syvais.
