My First Week Back on Medium After a Four-Month Hiatus
Catch up on anything you missed
Yes, it’s official — after four months of total silence in Inspire, Believe, Grow, I returned to the wild world of Medium on July 1st.
I’ve been more active this week than I plan to be in the long term as I seek to reestablish myself on the platform. Normally, I will look to publish about three posts per week on Medium.
So, I thought I’d send out a quick Inspire, Believe, Grow newsletter to update people who, for various reasons — not least the Medium algorithm — may not have caught sight of my posts this week.
Here we go with a roundup of ALL the posts I wrote this week…
- MONDAY: My first post following my hiatus discussed Why I decided to write on Medium again.
- TUESDAY: My reflections on being ordained in the Church of England for forty years. Was it all worth it? (This post was published over on the Backyard Church)
- WEDNESDAY: Another entry into my ongoing saints and festivals series as we look at Seven things you might not know about St Thomas on his feast day, July 3rd.
- THURSDAY: A more personal story today as I reveal that I have Stage Three Bowel Cancer
- FRIDAY: Another entry into my ever-popular “Christian Weirdness” series as we look at 15 Crazy Church Typos and Bloopers I found in June
- SATURDAY: Answering a question I’m sure some of you have wondered about What happens to earnings if you don’t do anything on Medium for FOUR months
I hope you enjoyed the Inspire, Believe, Grow content this week. In the week ahead, I should publish three posts. First, I will comment on a truly unbelievable story about one of the American denominations.
Later in the week, I’ll be publishing another iteration of my series exposing the eye-popping and gruesome world of 1950s and 1960s Christian album covers.
I haven’t quite decided what my third post of the week will be 😛 so be sure to check back later in the week…
You can keep up with Inspire, Believe, Grow by “following” the page. Even better, why not subscribe to me and receive an email whenever I write a post on Medium?
