L9100S— Toy Driver Easy To Use
Toy-low-voltage-h-bridge-easy-to-use-motor-driver — .8A@12v peak — Ardu_Serie#47
What PWM Driving Circuit may I use in my J3C3 robot?
This post continues the study from Quick Intro To Motor Drivers (see links below).
What are the best options for controlling motors with inductive loads?
In this post: A review for toy-low-voltage-h-bridge-easy-to-use-motor-driver: L9110!
We will start with the good option when we have low voltage motors: L9100 — Motor control driver chip. There are others as well. check this link :)
L9100 — The First We’ll Study From This Point On…
Let’s get started!
Here’s how it works?
Here are 5 working codes, from the simplest to the most complex (take your time to understand them step-by-step, please :)
_47_L9110_test_motor_01.ino — The control: simply the DC MOTOR, L9110, and Arduino;
_47_L9110_test_motor_02.ino—We add the movement forward and back frozen in the code;
_47_L9110_test_motor_03.ino — We add a potentiometer to vary the speed; no L9110 chip; single direction;
_47_L9110_test_motor_04.ino — We add the potentiometer and the state machine; L9110 chip returns:)
_47_L9110_test_motor_05.ino — We refined the code to present a menu, a la carte!; That’s all!
I hope you now know how to use L9110 Chip as a toy-low-voltage-h-bridge-easy-to-use-motor-driver :)
If you enjoyed this post/video please let me know;-)
I would also appreciate your feedback on the content and suggestions for improvement.
In the next post, we gonna investigate ULN2003–12vdc stepper motor driver.
Take care. bye!
