With blockchain as its new business goal, Cube has founded Anicube Entertainment as a joint venture with Animoca Brands -a leading metaverse platform provider in Hong Kong-to develop a music metaverse ecosystem.
Cube is also known for its NFT business with leading K-Pop artists. Last April, Cube minted video NFTs with BTOB, (G)I-DLE, PENTAGON, and LIGHTSUM, recording more than 2.3 million airdrop applicants. This exciting occasion drew keen attention from both existing crypto users and global K-Pop fans who may not have been so familiar with NFT and metaverse.
Besides, Cube signed a strategic partnership last March with the Sandbox — a metaverse gaming platform — to aggressively enter into the metaverse industry and to collaborate in the development and operation of virtual reality and digital assets.
