Greetings, Space Cowboys and Astronaut Girls! These two weeks have gone so fleetly! So here is another issue of ‘Cosmos ecosystem biweekly’ — our traditional report which covers various topics from projects’ milestones, development updates, governance proposals, collaboration news, interviews, and more!
These weeks, Tendermint has acquired DeFi liquidity innovator B-Harvest, creator of Gravity DEX, the first interchain decentralized exchange created for the Cosmos Hub. Gravity DEX enables trades between any two Cosmos tokens — a $90 billion market including ATOM, BNB, LUNA and CRO — or any tokens beyond the ecosystem. Built with the Inter-Blockchain Communication, Gravity DEX will enable permissionless, trustless exchange of digital assets throughout Cosmos and other blockchain networks while integrating liquidity pools across dozens of protocols efficiently with its Equivalent Swap Price Model (ESPM) Automated Market Maker (AMM). The next phase of the Gravity DEX rollout includes a weeklong testnet competition for traders, arbitrageurs, and bug bounty hunters to earn prizes totalling more than $200,000 in ATOMs and 10 sponsored tokens from the Cosmos ecosystem. Furthermore, Tendermint Ventures to incubate Pylons as flagship NFT chain for Cosmos. Pylons will be the fastest, easiest way to launch a massive NFT product with minimal transaction fees. The team plan to offer a full SDK and developer docs, along with an art minting app called Easel by July.

This time, they’re bringing the Cosmos HackAtom to HCMC, Vietnam. The MVP of Plasm Network’s Secret Network bridge is now ready, providing another step towards connecting the worlds of Polkadot and Cosmos. Tendermint Ventures to Incubate Pylons as Flagship NFT Chain for Cosmos
Pylons will be the fastest, easiest way to launch a massive NFT product with minimal transaction fees
Pylons offers developers a fast, interoperable, and permissionless way to build and compose with NFTs thanks to its use of the Cosmos SDK and IBC protocol. The Pylons SDK uses Starport, the leading Cosmos developer suite, to enable complex applications with simple-to-use tools that don’t require learning any blockchain-specific programming languages. NFT developers and creators can lay out custom interactions in JSON and run mobile apps using the Pylons SDK. Because Pylons is its own sovereign chain within the Cosmos ecosystem, the on-chain fees are much more affordable for developers and users compared to congested networks like Ethereum.

By voting Yes, the voter agrees to send 5,000 Atoms from the community fund to the multisig address which is controlled by 4 multisig committee members, who will distribute the Atoms to the competition winners.
