VMWare Player

VMWare Player is free and you can get up and running with virtual environments (at least from Windows 7) very quickly and easily. I set up Mac OS/X in a VM the other day to see if it was possible, and this evening, once I had downloaded the iso, was able to run Ubuntu 11.04 in a couple of minutes.
