Some people love to talk it like they walk it in the bedroom, so they give their partners an earful of dirty talk during lovemaking. It certainly happens a lot in porn, but in the real world, how common is it to talk dirty during sex?

Sex toy company Adam & Eve did a survey of 1,000 Americans to find out and these were the results:

  • Always talks dirty during sex (11 percent)
  • Sometimes talks dirty during sex (31 percent)
  • Rarely talks dirty during sex (20 percent)
  • Never talks dirty during sex (20 percent)

Although many people do indulge in dirty talk during sex, according to Adam & Eve’s resident sexologist, Dr. Jenni Skyler, many people may not feel comfortable with using lustful lovemaking language nowadays because of the toll recent years has taken on them.
