I wish to brainstorm some ideas of how I can increase the productivity of my novel writing. I want to harness constructive stream-of-consciousness while retaining quality and clarity of thought.

I sat down today to write about how it was difficult to stick to only 100 words. However, I now find myself sitting here in a cafe, listening to some inconveniently depressing Beck, struggling to know what to write about. I was in the mood for writing, but now I feel despondent.
