Been a while since we posted, hereโs another story that didnโt make it. In 2022, we embarked on developing an athlete-tracking device and application for sports. ๐โโ๏ธ Our goal was to create a comprehensive solution addressing every need of athletes during gameplay and training.
Our product included features such as heart rate monitoring, continuous glucose monitoring, distance covered, speed, body temperature, blood pressure monitoring, and hydration sensors. ๐ง The sweat sensors, in particular, were designed to monitor hydration levels, helping athletes optimize performance and avoid dehydration.
However, we faced significant challenges. Procuring and calibrating the tracking devices was more difficult than anticipated. Ensuring the accuracy of these devices required extensive testing and fine-tuning. Moreover, finding willing test subjects to validate our product was a struggle, limiting our ability to refine the technology effectively. ๐ ๏ธ
Despite these hurdles, we continued to push forward. Our ambitious vision, unfortunately, outpaced our resources and capabilities, making execution difficult. The technical complexities and operational hurdles ultimately led us to reconsider the feasibility of our project. ๐
