Where I Promote My Gumroad Store?

Promotion takes most of the time!

Readers often ask me where I promote my Gumroad stores. I have two Gumroad stores in an active state (consistent sales), whereas I recently got my first sales on my third store (experimental store!).

Here I give you some ways on how you can select the one which is more suitable for your business.

Social Media and its suitable audience

1. YouTube — I call it the King of all social media. Your product is of any niche, this platform will definitely give you consistent sales. Travel, Amazon haul, writing, make money, self-improvement, men/women health, mental health, fitness, weight loss, relationship. This works for every niche. But the only drawback is, it takes time to make content.
2. Twitter — Twitter is my next favorite platform. This platform works for selling digital products, also selling your services. I get Fiverr clients from Twitter alone. Twitter users are business-oriented people. They are ALWAYS looking for some kind of service.
3. Instagram — This is my third favorite as I have a music store here. All my sales come from this one Instagram account only. This works best if your niche is into entertainment, women, young generation. My most customers are women and kids.
4. Medium — If you are a writer then this platform works the best. Make sure you share good quality content and engage as much as possible.
5. Pinterest — This I have to add in the last. The last social media platform I use to make money. I use it to promote my Gumroad store and even my music store. I think I got only 9 sales from here. I haven’t figured out much about this platform as I am not very consistent there. But seeing some of the results from Medium writers, I think it’s worth trying out. I won’t make $1000 per month. But maybe $500 per month? Because creating pins doesn’t take a lot of time.

You cannot be on all platforms. I tried and failed miserably. I’ll advise you to choose any one. Then try to reach $1000 per month. Then and then only go for another platform.
