I Was Bullied: It Ruined Me
In 2008 I moved from Oslo to a small town, called Lillestrøm. There were almost no other South-Asian people; is it a surprise I was bullied?

I still wonder if they killed all my potential and if there is anything left of who I used to be.
Am I worth nothing? I know today that it’s not true, but the trauma from being attacked, mentally and physically for 8 years straight sticks.
I wrote an article about perfectionism and a bruised ego when my grades dropped.
That’s only half of the truth; I started deteriorating because of the constant attacks from bullies, and the teachers weren’t there for me anymore. Why would they care about another mediocre student?

Bullying is horrible so hope you are able to rise above it and move on - thankfully adults tend to be nicer to each other than children, obviously not always, but that is often the case. Well-written and from the heart - hope you do well on Medium. :)
