Charged Particles Gaming Guild’s flagship project, Book of Alchemy, is pushing the boundaries of composability and story-telling

Cybertooth Kat, founder of the Charged Particles Gaming Guild, has been helping the community not only to shift their perspective about how Web 3.0 gaming can work, but more importantly to have fun getting creative.

With the wild success of recent games such as Ultimate Trash Panda, Rogues & Ronin, and the ongoing Polygorn, we’ve seen an incredible amount of new community growth and have all been reinvigorated with inspiration to build play-to-earn games that are fun. We’ve also come to realize that gaming in the crypto space doesn’t require millions of dollars and a shiny UI for it to be engaging and fun.

Each of these games uses the composability tools of the Charged Particles protocol, challenging players to nest assets such as NFTs, tokens, custom weapons, and more inside their in-game characters. Tokens, weapons, points, and upgrades can now be stored inside the NFT itself, leading to brand new layers of value for in game items.

Up the power level of your space raccoon; trade weapons and nest them inside your pirate or ninja NFTs to find the most powerful combination before battle; level up your unique Polygorn monsters — on-chain strategy gaming hasn’t seen anything like this before.

Did we mention there have been $IONX prizes for winners of each game?

But before any of these, there was The Book of Alchemy, and it’s about to make its grand return. The Book of Alchemy dives much much deeper into a world of magic, clans, lore, and culture. And woven into it’s architecture is a myriad of fascinating DeFi NFT use-cases.

If you haven’t seen our conversation about Nested NFTs, weapon forging, and composable metaverses/maps, start here:

Imagine now that your in-game characters, represented by your unique PFP, can now store gear, tokens, accolades, lore, quests, experiences points, and more! And, with a bit of clever development, can be woven into incredible new structures of community-derived value, gameplay, and engagement.

Can you imagine on-chain Dungeons and Dragons? Because we can.

About Charged Particles

Charged Particles is a protocol that allows users to deposit ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155 tokens into NFTs. A scarce NFT (e.g. Art, Collectible, Virtual Real Estate, In-Game Item, etc.) can now be transformed into a basket holding a number of other tokens. The Principal amount can be time-locked inside the NFT, and through integration with Aave’s aTokens, the programmable yield from these DeFi yield-generating assets is just a few clicks away.
