Flex + WebOrb .NET on a Mac OSX

One of the best things ( work wise that is! ) that I ever did was make the switch from Windows to OSX. All those annoying Windows niggles that I’d put up with for years were suddenly gone, leaving me to get on with what I set out to do.

Flex Gumbo ItemRenderer — disable ‘hovered’ state

Whilst creating a custom ItemRenderer in Flex Gumbo, I came across an interesting problem. When adding new custom states to your renderer, it’s important to not neglect to add the default states as well, for fear of throwing RTE’s.

AIR 2 and Flash Player 10.1 released on Adobe Labs

As of today Adobe have released beta versions of their two major runtimes — Adobe Flash Player 10.1 and Adobe AIR 2, to the developer community. Check out the release info over at Adobe.

The curious case of the disappearing Flex import statements
