IOST: Final Results For Q2'20 Contribution Rankings&Rewards, Transaction Volume Breaks 400 Million, BSN Selects IOST’s Shanyiou Platform As Official Designated Application, HitHub Launches “Global Blockchain Open-Source Node Program” With IOST As First Strategic Partner

Hello, and welcome to our biweekly recap on IOST! Over the past two weeks, a lot of news and updates have occurred within the project. Let’s look at some of the significant takeaways!
To begin with, the results for Q2'20 contribution rankings and rewards were published on 13th July. For a total of 113 days, over 130 million IOST contribution rewards and shares will be distributed this time. Over 65 million IOST are rewarded due to contribution score and distributed to partner nodes according to their tier and voters. In this quarter, 17 nodes successfully achieved Tier 1 status, earning the highest rewards, each of Tier 1 node and their voters will receive over 1.91 million IOST contribution rewards.
Additionally, the IOST Nodes Showcase was posted to spread the word on the progress and outstanding contributions of IOST Nodes. Some of the latest elected nodes which have joined the IOST ecosystem to the community were also featured.
On the development side, some display problems in the browser (inconsistent pledges for self and for others) were fixed; they’ve also proceeded with an investigation of the possibility of IOST node code running on ARM64 instruction set; IOST contract upgrades were tested.
As for the recent partnerships, there are also a lot of things to mention. The Blockchain Service Network, China’s first national consortium that seeks to leverage the benefits of blockchain technology to provide a cross-network, cross-regions, and cross-institutional global distributed ledger technology service infrastructure, officially announced that the Shanyiou charity information publicity platform under Aiou Technology (IOST’s Enterprise Arm) has been selected as its Official Designated Application. Furthermore, IOST has formally invested in ATTN, Asia’s largest eSports eco-industry alliance, and will work with ATTN to explore the application of blockchain technology in e-sports, and jointly develop the blockchain gaming ecosystem to create high-quality blockchain games.
Another milestone — IOST has officially become the first strategic partner among the top-tier blockchain projects in the “Global Blockchain Open-Source Node Program” by HitHub — the decentralized incentive community for developers.
Also, some virtual events took place. IOST co-founder Terry Wang was invited as a panelist at Binance “Off The Charts” virtual conference to discuss scalability in blockchain development on 14th July 2020. What’s more, the co-founder conducted an online lecture for over 50 students of the University of Zurich Blockchain Center Summer School Programme. Moreover, he took part in the interview to talk about his experience and plans.
IOST Head of Overseas Marketing, Stephanie Ma, joined the HitHub Telegram group to give comprehensive answers to the questions about IOST & its technology and development by HitHub.

After rigorous and extensive evaluation, the IOST Foundation Evaluation Team completed the evaluation of contribution awards for Q2 2020 officially announces the final results & ranking on 13 July 2020.
Q2 2020 includes March 10 to June 30, for a total of 113 days, over 130 million IOST contribution rewards and shares will be distributed this time. Among them, a total of over 65 million IOST are rewarded according to the contribution score and will be distributed to partner nodes according to their tier and to voters.

- Use IOST on Your Phone — Import Your Private Key into Token Pocket app
If you wish to use IOST in a mobile browser on your phone, download Token Pocket from Google Play or Apple store. After it is installed, select IOST and add your IOST account. You will need to import the same private key that you created earlier. Once this is done and you have added iGas and iRam, then you can access all of the same Dapps that you can access on desktop, right from your phone. Make sure to add 100 iGas and 5 iRam to do transactions.

As of July 9, 2020, the number of transactions on the IOST mainnet officially exceeded 400 million, reaching 400,515,735 transactions. Thanks to the support of more than 400 partner nodes and all community members in the IOST ecosystem, the total number of IOST that are under voting has exceeded 4.6 billion, reaching 4.62 billion, accounting for 30.8% of the circulating supply.

Among the blockchains on which it is possible to create tokens, there is also IOST, which uses PoB (Proof of Believability).

The Blockchain Service Network (BSN) officially announced that the Shanyiou charity information publicity platform under Aiou Technology (IOST’s Enterprise Arm) has been selected as its Official Designated Application.
