A change of season is upon us
Month three! I can’t believe it. They grow up so fast, don’t they?
Sense With Cents has been growing and developing for three months. We have more wonderful writers and readers on board and so many more cents in our pockets!
If you feel my above statement is incorrect and you do not feel like you have a lot of cents — you are in the right place!
Sense With Cents is a safe space for people to learn, share and break stigma around watching the cents in your pockets. We can all live our best lives on a low budget.
This August has been a quiet month here at Sense With Cents, weather has been changing, some of us have been saying goodbye to summer while others are welcoming spring.
New seasons, new changes, and new reasons to save our cents.

We have reached over a 50% read ratio for the third month in a row. August was a bit of a quiet month here on Sense With Cents — as I feel was all over Medium — but we still managed to produce quality work and keep those readers engaged!
Huge shout out to the amazing writers who are still sitting at their laptops and churning out the work while the sun is shining outside their windows.
For those who were like me, snuggled up under a rug trying to think of new topics to write about — you’re doing amazing work too!
And we cannot forget the amazing and supportive readers who show up for Sense With Cents and are making it possible to do what we do here. Thank you in a massive way. We could not do this without your reads, claps, comments, and highlights — Thank you.
I hope Sense With Cents is providing you with something valuable you can keep in your pocket. Along with those few cents.
This month our reads have dropped from 431 reads last month to 153 reads this month, but we have maintained an over 50% read ratio which is a big win. Being August and a month of changing season, and being right in the middle of the year — summer holidays, winter stress, and a bit of burn out from those new year goals, people are resting and that is what they need to do.
We need to maintain our quality writing, take breaks for ourselves and do what we need to do to continue on a path we can be proud of. That is what’s most important.
We now have 31 writers on board which is steady growth and I can’t wait to read the stories and tips from these incredible writers next month! Our follower count has also grown from 36 wonderful readers to 45 wonderful readers — thank you, truly, for your support with this publication. Both readers and writers, it means a lot that you are here sharing your wisdom and support. Thank you.
Sense With Cents is a safe space for all to learn about money saving hacks and how to make those cents last. This is a publication for those looking to save a bit of dosh, those struggling to make ends meet, and people who like to stretch the dollar.
