Although people may link their sexual satisfaction to the performance of their partner, as well as their own, the truth is, the real way to help increase the happiness you have with your sex life is to open your mouth wide.

While performance may play some role in how satisfied you are in the bedroom, all of the moves in your partner’s bag of tricks don’t mean anything if they don’t know what you want. In fact, according to a survey of 2,000 people by sex toy company PinkCherry, 68 percent say they’re very vocal about what they want in the bedroom and 74 percent report doing this has improved their sex life.

Some survey respondents (60 percent) are so dedicated to telling their partner what they want that they’ll even give feedback in the heat of the moment. Others (65 percent) would rather show and not tell, so they’ll guide their partner with demonstrations on the best ways to give them an orgasm.

And if these lessons don’t lead to the results they want, people aren’t willing to stand for it — let alone lie down. In extreme cases, people (37 percent) will end a relationship entirely rather than endure bad sex. However, those who don’t take their sexual dissatisfaction to this…
