Starting With Skycoin Rewards

This is the one article you NEED to READ if you want to start earning cryptocurrency (namely Skycoin) by using skills that you already possess!
The great thing with the Skycoin Rewards Program (SRP for short) is that it doesn’t require you to spend countless hours to make that sweet, sweet… $$$
Each ticket you earn by submitting creative content has an equal chance of winning prizes from a $2,000 USD pool in our monthly live game-show; what’s more, we plan to scale this to $20,000 as participation increases!
Monthly Live Game-Show:
The first Sunday each month we host a gameshow-style live-stream on the Skyfleet Youtube channel. To make it fair on everyone we will alternate through these times:
00:00 UTC (April 7th), 08:00 UTC (5th May) and finally 16:00 UTC (2nd June) These 3 times will repeat in future months.
Make sure you subscribe to the channel and tune in for your chance to win spot-prizes awarded to viewers including:
- Skycoin (10% of prize pool)
- Skywallets
- Merchandise
- Spin the main-wheel
- 250 SkyCred (25 Tickets)

One step at a time…
Let me walk you through the steps.
First, you must create a Telegram account if you haven’t already.
Make sure that you create a handle for your account, this allows people to tag you and tell you how AWESOME your work is! Oh, and so we can award you all your glorious tickets.
Finally, come hang out at our house (AKA the @SkycoinRewards Telegram) Please use your eyes and brain to read the pinned message! It holds the most up to date information and wants to be consumed.

Contribute Your Skills:
We’re offering a range of different mediums with more being added to the menu soon.
SRP is designed to reward quality content over quantity. Your content should have an objective! E.g:
- Explain how to use Skywire VPN
- Document building a Skyminer
- List problems Skycoin addresses
As a general guideline…
Teach people something, dive deep and look for topics that haven’t already been covered.
‘General’ content won't earn you as many Cred/Tickets.
Stuck for ideas? Some cool dude created a list of content suggestions!
EARN!
Once your content is ready for submitting, post it as a link like this:
/submit https://YourSubmission.com
That’s it!!
Your submission is entered and a group of 10 judges will vote (usually within 48 hours) to form consensus determining how many SkyCred, thus tickets make their way into your pockets.
Tickets are valid for the next game-show, after which they’re all reset.
(This means if you earn 5 tickets in January, they’re only valid for the game-show at the beginning of February)
SkyCred rolls over indefinitely acting as a levelling system and eventually incorporated into a personal rewards ladder.
Win!
Each ticket is your chance to win a spin on the wheel of Skycoin and claim your riches! Each stream consists of 50 spins with odds stacked in favour of all the prizes being won.
To get a spin on the wheel your ticket must be either selected via raffle or you can also win a spin via the spot prize wheel.
All prizes won, excluding Skycoin are deducted from the prize pool at the end of the show and the remaining dollar amount is distributed among the following Skycoin prizes:
- Jackpot = 30% (1 winner, rolls over if not won)
- Shark = 30% (Split between winners)
- Dolphin = 20% (Split between winners)
- Spot Prizes = 10% (Split between winners)
- Top Picks = 10% (Split between selected)
“Top Picks” are awarded to outstanding contributors who missed out on prizes.

Skycoin Meetups:
The Skycoin Rewards Program was designed to promote Skycoin meetups as a priority! With that in mind, an outstanding meetup is eligible for upto 4 times the number of tickets as other content submissions.
Make sure you join the Meetups World Wide room and when planning a meetup contact @MacSkyver or @SkyEvent on Telegram for assistance.
The Skycoin team will hook you up with some Skycoin swag (Merchandise) so you can represent Skycoin with pride! (Message @SkyEvent for requesting this)

Blog posts must be posted on your own medium account or website.
So first join Medium if you haven’t already.
We’re rating your articles based on the structure, grammar, graphics, the topic and word count. A maximum of 500 SkyCred or 50 tickets is awarded per article.

We encourage the submission of international articles and will award tickets for translation of articles in this list.

A collation of distinguished Skyfleet writers work, the Skyfleet Captain’s Log is aiming to be a portfolio of everything Skyfleet!
Once we see you’ve written 2 or 3 articles we will invite you to a Telegram room where all the writers hang out, if needed we will provide feedback on your work and coach you until you’re knighted as a contributor to the publication. (We will contact you about this, please don’t ask)

Similar to articles; videos must be posted on your own YouTube account or sent as a source file for posting on the Skyfleet YouTube Channel.
You don’t have to put your face in front of a camera to get started… Create Skywire tutorials, record yourself learning or teaching CX, create explainer videos, there are so many possibilities!

We’ve gamified SRP by adding the ability to ‘level up’ which earns you banners and titles.
