I hope you all had a peaceful and relaxing Christmas, even if you couldn’t spend it in the way you normally do or would have liked to.

Now that 2020 has drawn to a close, here is a round-up of the 10 most popular posts published in Small Steps. This year, I’ve decided to rank the posts in terms of the number of reads rather than the number of views, fans or claps.

I think the number of reads is the best indicator because it shows how many people were interested enough to read a post all the way through, rather than just glancing at it or skimming it.

Here are the most popular posts of 2020 in reverse order:

10. 3 Phrases to Change Your Perspective — Simple quotes to encourage you to build a better life

9. How to Stop Wasting Your Time — This science-based technique will help you find more hours in the day

  1. 31 Words to End 2020 on a High Note — Celebrate how far you’ve come this year

2020 has been an unusual year for all of us. Wherever we are on the planet, we’ve all had to cope with unexpected, difficult and frightening events. It has not been easy, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. So far, two COVID-19 vaccines have been approved (in the UK) and vaccination programs have already begun in some countries.

At the same time, daily cases have risen rapidly, putting pressure on healthcare systems, so it looks as if we still have a difficult few months ahead of us, before the majority of the population is immunized.

We will continue to live with restrictions on our daily lives, which are necessary but not always easy. Let’s try and focus on the positive aspects of our lives as we move closer to the end of this global pandemic.

I wish you and your families a very happy, healthy and successful 2021!

Best wishes,
