Abel is right. Immersion is the key. It’s like trying to learn how to drive a car by reading manuals alone. Eventually, you have to get behind the wheel. That’s the only way to really learn. Immersion in a language is the only way to really learn to speak and understand a language. Non-immersive classes are only useful if we want to learn the structure and more theoretical linguistic aspects of a language.
