Feeling galvanized — A growing collection of inspiration

This day, although under trying circumstances, has been one of the most inspiring during the 16 months I’ve been moved, pushed, hugged, and much, much, much more by November Project DC. In response to learning that the National Park Service is taking away #NP_DC’s crown jewel, Wednesday stair running and community-building at the Lincoln Memorial, dozens upon dozens of NPers — most a part of the DC tribe, but others from as far and wide as San Diego and Boston — wrote their stories in letters to Bob Vogel and Gay Vietzke of the NPS and National Mall and Memorial Parks, respectively. Many, I’m sure, chose to keep their emails and/or snail mail appeals private (and others are still writing theirs), so the links below represent just a fraction of the massive collection, but I’ll tell you this:
Read just one and you’ll be greatly inspired. If you haven’t before, you’ll yearn to join and be embraced by the November Project community — much the same as the hundreds of strangers from myriad backgrounds who have come together throughout Washington, DC, to spread love, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
