Since our launch last year, the Academy Token Telegram group has been a proverbial town square where accomplishments have been shared alongside criticisms. Your engagement in the progression of ACAD has been obvious and your questions have been heard. In this series, we’ll be answering some of the questions you’ve posed in the Telegram group each week.

This week, we’re letting you know what we’ve been up to.

Are you publishing a new series?

Subscribers to our Medium profile may have already noticed that we’ve begun a new series called Getting Started with Crypto. Intended as an introduction to the world of decentralized currency, the series touches on key aspects of responsible participation in the crypto space. From different types of wallets to password security, the series shared information intended to enrich crypt communities through education.

Whether you’ve been trading currency for years or you’re trying to buy your first tokens, you should check out our Getting Started with Crypto series for tips on best practices. And don’t forget to share the articles; they could help you, your family, your friends, and your coworkers become responsible navigators of the cryptosphere.

Do you have any other pictures from recent classes or events?

Last week, we shared photos from some of our courses and seminars and we were happy to hear that you enjoyed seeing the faces of our talented student developers! Another group of prospective blockchain developers joined Kingsland University in Mexico City last week:

These students took part in a one-day seminar entitled ‘Building Blocks: Introduction to Blockchain,’ a prelude to the Blockchain Networks and Dapps & Solidity courses Kingsland is offering in Mexico City in 2019.

Want to see yourself in the next round of photos coming from Mexico City? Sign up for the Blockchain Networks course starting in Mexico City on January 21.

Other than the Telegram group, how can we stay updated on Academy Token news?

The Academy Token Telegram group is a great way to get updates as they happen, but there are also a few other ways you can learn about our latest and greatest developments.

One great way to stay in the know is to sign up for our mailing list. We send out regular newsletters that include information similar to what you’re learning in this FAQ. Each newsletter includes links to new course locations, and updates on how current and past courses may have gone. They include photos and information about what events our team will be attending. Anything we have going on gets packed into our newsletters.

For curated updates, links to recent publications, and pictures from our events direct to your inbox, sign up to receive our newsletter.

You can get updates by simply scrolling through social media, too. We have Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages where we post our announcements alongside relevant industry news. Follow us on your favorite platform to stay connected.
