I enjoyed your summaries for each year. Reminders of how quickly time flies. Was it 4 years ago that Miley Cyrus was the talk of the town? Seems like it was just yesterday. :)
This is a very good article. It comes across as very genuine, touching and heartfelt. Maybe I’m old school but for the life of me I don’t know why anyone would think “teaching kids to code is the solution”. Hmmm?? Never thought about the gender aspects of these devices. To be perfectly honest, I only view those gadgets as “toys”, except if there is an emergency. If I can scream HELP! or FIRE! and that summons a first response team to my rescue, to me that’s the true value of these pieces of technology. Crime fighting and emergency aid to the needy.
I appreciate that most of these are free. There are so many people who, if they have Internet access, can educate themselves. I agree with Zukerberg. “Everyone Deserves Internet Access, Mark Zuckerberg Says” ~

LOL. I use the words “I think” very sparingly. This is my second laugh.
My first laugh was the way your article caught me eye. At first I only saw the words “The Two Minutes It Takes To Read This Will” and in my mind I started wondering if it only takes two minutes to read somebody’s will. (O.o) LOL.
Thanks. I think I’m using up all the available images on Pixabay. :) Bookmarked for future reference.
