Ego: Such an Abusive Parent
Daring to expose our nakedness
Ego, you are so annoying,
Always wanting to add
The extra touch
That spoils my painting.
It is a delicate balance to write,
We write on a wire,
A false movement
And all is to build again.
Get rid of any scaffolding
That you don’t need anymore,
now a danger for you.
Our ego is an abusing parent.
Leave me some air,
I don’t need your shell
to envelop me all the time.
Could we write in the naked?
Could we remove all layers
To expose our nakedness?
