June was a power-packed month at Charged Particles as we completed the alpha version of our SDK, added new collections to our allowlist, NFT NYC 90s Super Bundle with Unstoppable Domains, 90’s Babes, and Polygon Studios, we announced our partnership with Lovelace, some great media coverage, launch of Polygorn by our gaming guild leader Cybertookth Kat, and more.

Dev Updates

SDK alpha version is now complete, new NFT Wallet is in progress

We have completed the alpha version that we are putting to use in a new NFT Wallet Dapp we are building. While we are getting close we don’t have a timeline for an official release because we are focusing on assuring it’s production-ready rather than rushing to release by a certain date.

Supercharging Play-to-Earn with DeFi NFTs

Charged Particles Gaming Guild’s flagship project, Book of Alchemy, is pushing the boundaries of composability and story-telling. Cybertooth Kat the founder of Charged Particles gaming guild has played a prominent role in shifting the community perspective about Web 3.0 gaming with the wild success of recent games such as Ultimate Trash Panda, Rogues & Ronin, and Polygorn.

We’ve seen an incredible amount of new community growth and have all been reinvigorated with inspiration to build play-to-earn games that are fun. We’ve also come to realize that gaming in the crypto space doesn’t require millions of dollars and a shiny UI for it to be engaging and fun.

Unchained Music uses the Charged Particles protocol to make music distribution FREE, and that’s just the beginning. Equitability, financial sovereignty, and lowering barriers to entry within our global marketplace are a few among the many of crypto’s core ideals. These principles, which many would consider the life blood of Web 3.0, are what continue to motivate builders and attract artists from all walks of life. We announced our partnership with Lovelace, a Metaverse-as-a-Service platform, that gives NFT projects the tools they need to create and deliver the next generation of GameFi solutions. Lovelace empowers creators to realize the potential of the Metaverse through its NFT marketplace, Play-to-Earn gaming engines, smart contracts, launchpad, and partner integrations

Charged Particles and Lovelace will work together in revolutionizing the world of NFTs. We strongly believe that NFTs are more than just collectibles and digital art.

With this partnership, we aim to:

Expand & strengthen our communities by introducing Lovelace to our guilds and partner projects
Kickoff the partnership with a gaming tournament exclusive to members of both communities and a joint AMA

Artist Showcase June — Shoonec

The winner of our June Artist Showcase is longtime community member and talented artist, Shoneec! Their artwork, Air Tower, is part of a series of towers that explore a profound world. Mary Hush Metaverse Event

The Ecology Guild is cooking up a brand new metaverse event to celebrate art, music, and of course, Ecology! Slated for July 23 & 31, the 2-Day event will be taking place within Cryptovoxels as well as New Zealand. One of the primary goals for the event is to raise funds for Grandmother Grove, which is a Charged Particles project dedicated to planting trees using the power of the protocol and interest annuities. 50% of raised funds from the Mary Hush Art Auction will be locked up into a Proton NFT and the interest generated will be used to plant trees in perpetuity. More details to come so stay tuned!

Max Jackson vs Soundwaves Photon

Our product lead & artist Max Jackson and psychedelic audiovisual NFT creator Soundwaves Photon were a part of ART|DAI battle in Decentraland where the winner will have IONX injected into their Charged Particles NFT while the loser will give theirs away to one lucky voter! It was a fun event and Max Jackson slayed it.

This month’s team member spotlight is our QA Engineer Garrett Gehle. He is passionate about decentralized data systems, web development & scientific discovery & Garrett tries to learn something new every day. He sees blockchain systems as the key to solving a few of humanity’s current problems around scientific censorship, voter fraud, resource management, authoritarian overreach & more. Founder of Genuinely Great Information Technology & Mint Good Art Garrett helps non-profits, small businesses & artists achieve their goals in both Web2 and Web3 spaces. When he’s not working on a project or studying something new & the weather is nice you can find Garrett skating one of his local hills, trails, or parks on one of his many longboards.

About Charged Particles

Charged Particles is a protocol that allows users to deposit ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155 tokens into NFTs. A scarce NFT (e.g. Art, Collectible, Virtual Real Estate, In-Game Item, etc.) can now be transformed into a basket holding a number of other tokens. The Principal amount can be time-locked inside the NFT, and through integration with Aave’s aTokens, the programmable yield from these DeFi yield-generating assets is just a few clicks away.
