“Pull Quotes” of a 2 Year Old: Week 40
…Dramatis personæ
Her sass was acquired umbilically. Her personality started very young. Her opinions have grown quite strong in the last year. Now, she’s basically her very own person. Luckily, by law, I have to kinda hang around.
Winter is coming:
Here are the entire “Pull Quotes” of a 2 Year Old (thus far)

Daughter: I made a flower?
Daddy: No, hu-mid-i-fi-er.
Daughter: YOU made a flower?
Tuesday Oct 4
“You have to be careful. Don’t cut yourself.”
Wednesday Oct 5
(sing-songy) “Rainbow. Rainbow. Rainbow. Rainbow…”
Thursday Oct 6
“I gonna drive. You sit in the chair. Seatbelt!”
Recap:
I know she’s just moments away from getting her driver’s permit. And then it’s passing the bar, astronaut training and her first year surgical residency while she sculpts, choreographs and sits first chair violin with the Philharmonic on the side, as well as plays second base for the New York Yankees and understudies at Shakespeare in the Park. I’m going to need one huge scrapbook for all her clippings.
