“Pull Quotes” of a 2 Year Old: Week 44
…Daddy Strange
Today’s post was delayed while I took some time away from dadding (and other humanly responsibilities to enjoy some alone time — albeit with strangers, appropriately watching Dr. Strange). I read a mom blog the other day about “mom burnout” and can only assume I had the dad equivalent. I love my family and my life. I am truly thankful for all of it, but I won’t lie and say it’s not sometimes utterly exhausting.

Recap:
I have read many times over that part of taking care of your child is taking care of yourself. It’s great advice and I do my best to remember that. It is hard to manage it sometimes atop all the things we juggle as adults, let alone parents. Kudos to all those struggling with the juggling. Breathe on.
