Journey to be remembered
This two month journey began back in June, 2017. We learned a lot during this internship as we were exposed to new technologies and tools to develop professional grade applications. We were invited to the slack community to interact with fellow interns and help each other by solving bugs and answering to queries.
The most important thing about this internship was the systematic approach with which it was designed by our mentors at Hasura. This 8 week internship was divided into various tasks for each week where we needed to carry out a task and write a blog post about it.
A gist of our app
Two of us (Akash Dabhi and Vinit Neogi) teamed up together to build an expense tracker app which would later on be called as ExTra Expense Tracker. This app is very simple in terms of functionality. It helps user to track expenses by adding expenses into the app, viewing them and viewing the analytics related to their spends.
Final Words
We would like to say that a successful journey has come to an end, yet there are many positives to take from this internship which has helped us in many ways. We are thankful to Hasura who provided us a platform to showcase our skills and at the same time developed them further. Also we would like to thank our mentors at Hasura who helped us out in every way possible and guided in the best possible way they could. It would be unjust if we do not thank our fellow interns at Hasura (the Slack Community) who were a helping hand at the times of crisis and provided a valuable feedback. Finally we are grateful to our real life friends who tested our app and had some valuable inputs for the same.
This was indeed a remarkable journey!
