Hebron Town Forest: Photos on a Beautiful Day in New Hampshire
If you enjoy the outdoors and nature, you’d love hiking in Hebron Town Forest.
The 458-acre forest — about 10 minutes from where I live near Newfound Lake — has nice trails with views of the Cockermouth River, Hebron and Groton, as well as serene Spectacle Pond in central New Hampshire.
The Cockermouth, by the way, flows through a cool spot that I’ve visited many times: the 272-acre Sculptured Rocks Natural Area. The river drains into Newfound Lake.

Here are 30 photos (in chronological order) that I took while hiking to, from and on the 2-mile Cockermouth Ledge Trail in Hebron Town Forest on April 7. It was a beautiful, windy day in the Granite State.
