Hey there! General article about “Message broadcast to 1st connections” read here. In this I just tell you how you can manage your broadcasts.

Message Broadcast is a set of Recipients, Processed Recipients, Excluded Contacts, message template, broadcast name.

By using several Messages Broadcasts you can create messages chains.

How to do this:

  1. Create a new broadcast (or use DEFAULT).

1.1 To create new broadcast choose this option from drop-down list:

1.2 Set broadcast name and click Create button:

3. Then you collect recipients, filter them, set your message template and send your message to these recipients (you can read about this here).

For example:

  1. You create first broadcast and name it “Owners” to send your first introduction message.
  2. After this you want to send them another message. So you create a new broadcast “Owners — proposal” to send them your sales proposal.

3. Open window “Manage broadcasts” by clicking this button:

4. As source choose “Owners” and “Processed Recipients”; As target “Owners-proposal” and “Recipients Queue”

5. Click “Add contacts” button:

6. After this you can send your proposal only to those contacts, who already received your introduction message.

7. But if you’ve got new 1st connections contacts, you can switch back to “Owners” broadcast, collect these new contacts and send them your first introduction message.

Just to remember — message template is part of a broadcast. So each broadcast has own message template.

8. Then you can switch to “Owners-proposal” and repeat the same procedure again. But if you add contacts from “Owners”.“Processed Recipients” to “Owners-proposal”.“Recipients Queue”, part of these contacts already will be in “Owners-proposal”.“Processed Recipients”. You shouldn’t worry about this, because Linked Helper every time before sending checks if recipient from “Recipients Queue” already exists in “Processed Recipients” or “Excluded Recipients”. If Yes, then Linked Helper deletes this recipient from “Recipients Queue” without sending.

But if you still have concerns about this :), you can set “Owners-proposal”.“Processed Recipients” as source and “Owners-proposal”.“Recipients Queue” as target, then click “Remove the same contacts” button. So Linked Helper will delete contacts from “Owners-proposal”.“Recipients Queue”, which already exists in “Owners-proposal”.“Processed Recipients”.

9. If you don’t want to add contacts, but replace the whole contacts list from source, click “Replace contacts” button:
