Psalms 19:1–7

The heavens declare the glory of God;
The skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
Night after night they reveal knowledge.
They have no speech, they use no words;
No sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
Their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
Like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other;
Nothing is deprived of its warmth.

Ultimately, there is nothing novel in creation. This is not to say that everything we see has been seen by other people before now, no. Remember that time is only a transient branching out from the realm of eternity. That means, nothing in time is entirely brand new in the grand scheme of all eternity, they are only a manifestation or a replication. Everything God has made is a reflection of something in eternity. The variety we see is a reflection of the variety in eternity. The ultimate message in creation is humanity itself, being the crown of creation and a reflection of God Himself.

The reason we can gaze upon nature and the awe of God strikes us is simply because nature is a reflection of something much more magnificent — Heaven. Heaven or eternity, whichever expression we choose to use, is also a reflection of the nature and attributes of God. The awe of God does not strike us arbitrarily. That happens only because something about God is being revealed no matter how infinitesimal. Everything we see stems out of the unseen, all things are therefore, ultimately, a reflection of God’s glory. In this new series, we want to examine the witness of nature, the embedded messages to all humanity.

So when there is so much noise and conflicting voices around you, remember that God has another witness that speaks without a voice. Remember that day or night, winter or summer, nature continues to bear witness to the glory of God. Take out time often to gaze upon the works of God, let your heart warm up from the busyness and the coldness of some unfavorable human interactions. Let your eyes partake in the colors of nature and awaken your inner child again. Be free from the monochrome and monotony of adulthood once a while. Perhaps, your heart will catch a fire that will make life beautiful once again.
