“Pull Quotes” of a 2 Year Old: Week 50
…The End is Near
“And now, the end is near, and so I face the final curtain…” — Sinatra (via Anka)
Knowing this project was winding down has been a little bittersweet for the last month or two. Having this recurring button to hit every week has kept me consistent and inspired me to write other things (so that my feed wasn’t a string of “Pull Quotes” posts!) I’m proud to have stuck to it and yet thankful that it will end. Hitting that final Publish may break me (TBD).
And more, much more than this:
All of Quarter 1 | All of Quarter 2 | All of Quarter 3 |
Week 40 | Week 41 | Week 42 | Week 43 |Week 44 |
Week 45 | Week 46 | Week 47 | Week 48 | Week 49
Friday Dec 9
“It’s called mitten, daddy. Not glove.”
Saturday Dec 10
“The policemen got Duke.”
Sunday Dec 11
“I get my underwear. You hold my blanket.”
Monday Dec 12
(singing) “Don’t be afraid… that’s why I love you.”
Tuesday Dec 13
(singing) “B-I-eh-eh-eh-O-oh-oh…”
Wednesday Dec 14
“Good night, Tree!”
Thursday Dec 15
“That’s silly. The moon can’t walk.”
Recap:
I look forward to continuing to take (proverbial) note of what my daughter says on a daily basis. I look forward to full conversations with her. And, down the line someday, looking back on all this with her. Everyone has said it and surely you know, they grow up so fast. But I’ll always have this to remind me of this magical year of her growth.
